Comme Au Vietnam sur Paris

As in Vietnam: the food is fantastic, but the atmosphere... less so. The decor is lovely, but the setting is very reassuring for newcomers (which is a good thing, though, for those who might be intimidated by chopsticks and canteen-like vibes). As for the food, the Bánh Cuốn are unique. They're not like the ones you find in other restaurants in the area, nor like the ones I ate there, but they are nonetheless very, very good, generously filled, and delicious. The Phở Bò is very good, with a lovely broth and nice pieces of meat. I noted (but didn't try) that you can order one with Black Angus beef. I'll have to try that. In short, the flavors are good, with varying degrees of adaptation, and the service is quite efficient. The price is slightly higher than the canteens I usually go to, but that's precisely the point, it's not one :)

This Vietnamese restaurant doesn't look exactly like the others, but don't be fooled by its more modern facade; this is a truly authentic restaurant! The dishes are plentiful and generous; very fragrant and delicious. Their café sua da (Vietnam's undisputed drink) is also very good, albeit a little pricey, but for once, it's well-made!

Wheelchair accessible (one small but wheelchair accessible toilet on street level. More toilets in basement) I saw a review that said there was no accessible toilet and that’s definitely not true. We walked into this place an hour before closing and had a fantastic meal. The dumplings are not to be missed!

Lovely spot, was jam packed when we came in which was not long after opening. We still managed to get seated without a reservation. My partner got the noodle salad and I got the stir fried noodles with pork. Both were absolutely delicious and very fresh, lovely crunchy veggies and nice herbaceous flavours. I highly recommend the nems, they were very crunchy and nicely filled. My only negative point would be that the pork in my noodles was a bit dry. Over all a great option.

Overall, Comme au Vietnam is a good restaurant with a nice setting and beautiful modern wooden furniture, offering generous portions at a reasonable price in the capital. I recommend the bo bun and the pho. The banh xeo is decent, but the crepe was too charred for my taste. The beef noodle soup is very good and spicy. The grilled pork looks alright but could be improved. The tapioca and bean desserts are good. The service is efficient and adequate. Some might find the waitresses not very smiley, but that's because they're genuine and not putting on an act. They're doing their job and are there to serve the customer. The food is good, but it can get a bit noisy during peak hours. The tables are a little close together, but it could be worse.

A delicious break with colleagues, just the way we like it! The Black Angus was incredibly tender, bursting with flavor in every bite, and the service was both professional and warm. We especially loved the South African white wine, with the perfect finishing touch: an unforgettable little glass of Japanese sake. 👌🏻

The restaurant lives up to its name. The quality is there, especially in terms of taste. A truly wonderful discovery, an absolute must-try.

I don't know when I got hooked on YTR, but I have to try pho when I come to France! This pho doesn't taste like MSG; it's a light and sweet hot soup. If you're craving hot soup, you should definitely give it a try!
