21/07/2026: I'm a craftsman and I eat a lot in the bakeries of Caen and the surrounding area. Without hesitation, the best ham, butter, and cheese sandwich in Caen is the Pepito; it's incredible, especially when you pick it up right when they open, between 7 and 8 am. The pistachio flan is really good too; the pastry had a slight hint of salt. I also tried a caramel/vanilla entremet which was excellent.
