30/06/2024: We could have been in Lyon, with is compact, rustic interior and inventive menu. Our favourite food of the trip to date, there are plentiful options and a lower price point than most. Especially somewhere Michelin-listed. The homemade bread was gorgeous, as was the food; works of art on the plate. We had gazpacho, a tomato based starter, followed by duck. Mains leant towards meat but there was variety. Desserts just as good. We recommend indoors for atmosphere, but there are outdoor tables too. Service was friendly and efficient. I hope you visit.

02/06/2024: Stopped in because everywhere else was closed and ended up being a great decision! The pancakes are delicious, but it doesn’t feel super unhealthy. The burger pancake butter with faux chicken was shockingly good! And I loved the green salad. Good beer and good vibes~ The service was really nice, we felt welcome and unhurried even though it was almost closing and enjoyed the little doggy.

18/06/2024: This is a restaurant without bling bling. Warm welcome, short and very appetizing menu. The dishes are plentiful and delicious. In short, we had a great time there.

01/07/2024: I knew this restaurant when it was starred, the standard remains very clearly the same, with very modern and comfortable decor. The plates are generous, and the choice interesting even at lunch. It's good, obviously, but sometimes a little "linear", I expected more boldness in certain dishes. Formal but efficient service. The chef continues to visit the dining room, it’s great on this type of table. The value for money is very consistent at lunch. Downside on a service error, I was billed (then refunded) for another table, so more than double.

27/06/2024: The worst server I've ever had in my life! A person who clearly no longer wants to be there or serve customers. Being pregnant and having dietary restrictions, I politely asked that the egg on my pancake be well cooked. After a long wait (there were 2 of us) my pancake arrived, with an almost dripping egg on top! I politely ask for it to be cooked again or otherwise remove it if this is not possible, he replies curtly “remove your cutlery”. And all this to bring it back to me after a 2nd long wait (my friend had time to finish her plate) the egg still not cooked! Without apology and without a word, this time, he had the gumption to only take the egg to let me finally eat my pancake. When I was largely finished, the egg cooked 3 times finally arrived. He then came to clear things up and then asked if we were having desserts; we barely had time to look at each other with my friend before he replied dryly with a “yes, no?!? » In short, we went to have dessert elsewhere (we were right) and disgusted by such a deplorable welcome. Advice: Avoid! If you want to have a good time, go your way!

15/06/2024: We had a very, very good time. We were really well received and ate well. Well-filled pancakes at reasonable prices, a good cider to accompany, in short a good meal. I therefore strongly recommend this establishment. During our next visit to Caen, we will come back without hesitation. Thank you to the whole team for this great evening.

05/07/2024: Superb restaurant in the city center of Caen The menus are 34th starter-main course-dessert. The dishes are excellent and beautifully presented. The vegetables served are original. It’s a pleasure to eat there. The concept of books on the table is great and offers topics for conversations. PS: vegetarian option available 🌱

10/05/2024: Lieux intimiste et chaleureux, nous avons dîné sur une petite table ronde ce qui est toujours sympa en groupe . Une carte courte mais où tout est tentant! Entrée, plat , dessert, copieux, raffiné, on s’est régalé avec des plats aussi beaux que surprenant. Une adresse qu’on gardera pour nos prochains passage à Caen.

10/05/2024: Superbe endroit, nous avons très bien mangé. Les plats etaient copieux et raffinés avec beaucoup de saveurs. Merci au Chef. C'était vraiment une très bonne expérience. Merci aussi pour l'accueil qui était chaleureuse accompagné d'un très bon service.
