We had lunch there; the food was well-prepared and the staff were very friendly. To keep us entertained while we waited, they even offered us an aperitif.

My wife and I had dinner there last night. I've rarely eaten such fresh fish in La Rochelle—and I mean truly fresh—cooked to perfection, just like a real professional chef would. Thank you to them. I highly recommend them. François

We chose this place at random and had a wonderful time: melt-in-your-mouth meat, delicate and fresh oysters (from the oyster farmer just a few meters away), excellent wines, and delicious homemade desserts and crêpes Suzette 😋!! All this in a hidden little spot! We'll be back!

Second time this summer and another delight. The welcome was warm, the sea bass was delicious. I hesitated between this and the clams, which I loved back in July. I highly recommend it!!

When I made the reservation, I asked for a sea view without knowing the restaurant... which didn't have a sea view (but the one next door had told me it did, so I didn't book). Then, a 30-minute wait for our aperitifs. The dishes, which were very well presented and delicious, arrived at different times. The waiter seemed to be out for a stroll, lol. Very smiley, certainly, but not efficient at all. It's a shame because a young woman was doing her best, but it didn't make up for the wait or the delayed service. No music, no atmosphere—a pity, the restaurant (even if it's not by the sea as I was looking for!) and the chefs deserve better.

Well. It didn't start well. I came for a seafood platter, but it turns out you have to reserve it 24 hours in advance...
However!!!
The oysters from the small producer next door are delicious (see Fines de Claire No. 3).
The mussels from the neighboring bay are delicious.
The crêpe Suzette for dessert was amazing!!!
The waiter was friendly. The chef came to explain the origin of his products.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

The food is excellent, the service is always friendly. We were on the terrace in the evening and when night fell we were offered a place to go inside with a blanket, which was very pleasant.

Everything is delicious, homemade, and beautifully presented! The setting is superb, with the sunset right in front of you. A big thumbs up for the warm welcome and excellent service. A fantastic experience, nothing to complain about.
