I would normally put 4 stars. On a sunnu day sitting outisde the beautiful plaza in front of Samaritaine is amazing. Staff is nice and friendly. Prices are just fine for what they offee. But you can come here only for tbeir cappuccino. Probably the best in Paris, a city where coffee is mostly well below average. The foam stayed dense after 45 minutes, made with care. So 5 stars. Great place.

23/09/2026: The staff were fun and friendly, and spoke a little Chinese! It was my first time trying grilled snails; the meat was springy and had a grassy flavor 🐌. The confit duck leg had a delicious sauce, and the meat was tender but occasionally a bit dry 😋. For dessert, we had a mini sundae with vanilla and peach flavors; the vanilla was sweet, paired with the refreshing aroma of peach 🍑.
22/09/2026: I understand why the ratings are low. I visited for dinner, and while the food wasn't outstanding, it was decent (I had the appetizer of the day, lamb chops, beer, and Bordeaux wine). Unlike servers at foreign restaurants, the quick service was nice. The problem seems to be due to Chinese tourists. I was sitting outside, but Western tourists inside moved to the outside and said "Chin Chin"...
