Hello, I know that the bakery has changed owners three times in the space of a year. The first time, the owners were lovely, but they had a pastry chef and a viennoiserie chef whose products weren't very good. The croissants were often day-old and not made with butter. It wasn't a very good bakery. I sometimes had to toast my croissants to eat them. The pastries were expensive and not particularly impressive. Then, starting in November, the new owner hired another pastry chef and another viennoiserie chef. It was simply delicious. The croissants were made with butter. The pastries had that little hint of rum in them. Real pastries, you know. However, I know they've changed owners again now. And I don't know, I have the impression that the quality of the pastries and viennoiseries has changed. The pastries have lost their flavor; they've become drier and bland. The viennoiseries have become dense and dense. Finally, there's no longer any choice in the pastry selection. No more Paris-Brest, which is a classic in bakeries. If you get four choices among the pastries, you should consider yourself lucky. My question is, has the new owner hired new pastry chefs and viennoiserie specialists? Because for the price we pay, and judging by the reviews, there's been a real decline in service, both in terms of customer service and the quality of the products.
