Crapule sur Vannes

Fine, original cuisine, delicious desserts, great wine selection.....

A wonderful food and wine experience in the heart of Vannes. The waiter helped us choose a delicious red wine to accompany our meat dishes. Everything was prepared superbly.

Passing through Vannes on a Sunday evening, I stumbled upon this unique restaurant. The welcome was friendly, and since the upstairs restaurant was full, I was seated downstairs (which suited me perfectly as I was dining alone) at a small counter in front of a window overlooking the kitchen! I was able to watch the chef and his sous-chef prepare various dishes, which I found very enjoyable. I ordered the fish dish, "sea bass with broccoli, anchovy cream, and sweet pepper," and it was delicious! All accompanied by a nice glass of white wine. I highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return if I'm ever in the area again! Estelle H

While passing through Vannes, we stumbled upon this restaurant. And what a happy coincidence, it was delicious! We ordered several appetizers to share, each one as good as the last and beautifully presented! They also recommended a very good wine! The atmosphere was lovely! A nice touch was the tasteful tableware.

A lovely spot in Vannes, the food is delicious, local, and seasonal. A great wine selection, with excellent recommendations from our host. Whether you're looking for a drink, a few small plates to share, or a full meal, I highly recommend this place.

Lovely wine bar with good vibes. We don't drink alcohol but the craft soda, food and desserts were delicious! Definitely would come back if we are ever in Vannes again.

Crapule is a gem. Really delicious food, and original wines in a casual and friendly environment. All that located in the beautiful old town area of Vannes. I can’t recommend enough sitting for a meal (for example at the counter, to witness the beautiful work accomplished in the kitchen) at Crapule, and it will undoubtedly call for other meals there…
