15/09/2026: A warm welcome, open kitchen so the ambience is very personal. We had the 8 course Menu Pissenlit, a gastronomic journey through many flavours. There is no à la carte menu, only tasting menus. The quality of the cooking and choice of ingredients is exceptional and very friendly and efficient service. If you want Michelin 1 star fine dining with some interesting and inspiring ingredients and flavours, I highly recommend it

09/08/2026: As I was leaving, I wondered, "Why isn't it full?" Rewind... But you might ask, what about the menu? Hold on! An original fast-food restaurant unlike any other. Proof: they seat you if you eat in the dining area. They even have a sense of humor, telling us we have to work by sorting our waste. But you might ask, what about the menu? I'm getting to that. But first, a quick stop at the reception. Because this is truly 5-star service! Bravo and thank you. Every customer is important, every request a priority. Hats off! But you might ask, what about the menu? The menu is original, offering a variety of dishes. It's original. But more importantly, it's incredibly delicious. In short, it's a must-try. And you'll want to go back again. There are few opportunities to find a place you absolutely love without breaking the bank. This is one of them. Hoping this review will help fill this restaurant even more. Highly recommended!

21/08/2026: A small bistro I stumbled upon during a stroll through the historic center of Vannes. Simple yet beautifully presented dishes, mostly vegetarian. Emphasis on organic and PGI products, excellent whole-grain bread. Everything was very good and fresh. The zucchini quiche was special, as were the side salads topped with seeds and a honey vinaigrette.

Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, the ingredients, the dishes, the ambiance, the setting... The cuisine is original, fresh, refined—a real treat. The service was impeccable; we were very pleasantly served and given excellent advice throughout the entire meal. Thanks to Marine's excellent recommendations, we enjoyed some superb wines! The atmosphere, however, is fantastic: warm, friendly, and not too noisy, which is really pleasant. The waitresses are all wonderful. 😁 In short, we had a fantastic meal! A truly wonderful experience that we will gladly repeat. 😊

17/09/2026: Dinner this Wednesday at Brasserie Bleue. Pleasant setting, beautifully presented and delicious dishes, perfectly cooked fish, and delectable desserts. Add to that a fine wine cellar and, above all, the quality of service: a charming, friendly young man who knew his menu perfectly (a rarity these days) and who reacted perfectly when we complained about the noise from a group, offering to move us to a different table. A truly wonderful, gourmet, and attentive evening – congratulations!

16/09/2026: Very disappointed... The drinks ordered before the meal only arrived halfway through after I had to ask three times. Not to mention they forgot the bread. A shame, because the setting is nice and the food is good.

05/09/2026: This restaurant fits a growing pattern we’ve seen in France of 2 person run (1 kitchen, 1 front) establishments that aim much higher than the average bistro in terms of quality, taste and creativity whilst keeping the bill affordable. It does mean a choice from 3 mains and 3 starters but it was so so worthwhile. Truly memorable. I hope others find it so.

07/09/2026: A wonderful discovery in Vannes. We had a truly divine meal at La Source. Market-driven cuisine that truly puts the ingredients at the heart of the dish: fresh produce, expertly prepared, elegantly presented, and perfectly executed cooking. For starters, the foie gras was remarkable, as were the langoustines, delicate and flavorful. But the real surprise of dinner was undoubtedly the seared octopus. It was cooked to absolute perfection: slightly crispy and charred on the outside, incredibly tender and meltingly soft inside. This mastery deserves to be highlighted, as it's rare to find octopus with such a perfect texture. The meagre was also excellent: delicately flavored, delicious, and cooked precisely to perfectly respect the fish's delicate nature. The same level of indulgence was found in the dessert, with a very good chocolate fondant and honey-roasted apricots, bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced to end the meal. We paired our dinner with an excellent bottle of Pouilly-Fumé, which complemented the fresh and precise cuisine perfectly. Beyond the quality of the ingredients, what stood out was the masterful cooking, the perfect seasoning, and the meticulous presentation. The food was generous without being heavy, refined without being pretentious. Kudos to Vincent, the owner and chef of this establishment, and to his entire team for impeccable service! A truly wonderful restaurant in Vannes, which I wholeheartedly recommend.
