Creperie du Lac sur Taupont

We usually love this place but today it was very disappointing. We wanted Moules but waiter said they were finished so we both ordered the entrecôte, medium, with pepper sauce! First the pepper sauce was cold, the steak was tough, my friend couldn’t finish hers it was just too tough, the lettuce was not fresh and chips barely warm! We ordered two banana splits, usually these are fab these were not! Cheap ice cream, couple slices of banana and served on a plate! The waiter was on his own and doing a good job but there is a real difference in quality and not a cheap meal! As I said we love this place but it’s really gone downhill.

After 15km of walking (around the lake with a small detour...) we stopped at this creperie. The view was awesome. We ate really well there. We will return there without any worries.

A nice lunch by the lake. The view from the terrace is magnificent, the place is undoubtedly very popular during the summer! We arrived a little late at lunchtime, but we were accepted, the service was however a little long. We had a whole pancake and a steak. Everything was good, but nothing more. This remains a very good option for eating at a reasonable price, and I won't hesitate to come back!
