An exceptional romantic dinner… the sea bass, fresh from the fishing trip, was a pure delight, and the pavlova to finish was flavorful and perfectly light.
All served with great care, humor, and kindness by Elisa, as well as Benji and Julien, the owner, who, along with his team, spares no effort in making these moments unforgettable, whether at Balthazar or Café de la Marine. A huge thank you and well done!

We had a wonderful lunch at Balthazar in Cassis! The food was excellent, the welcome warm, and the staff truly friendly. A special mention goes to the "waitress with glasses," who was lovely and attentive, and who greatly contributed to our excellent experience. 😊

Sometimes it's visually stunning but doesn't quite satisfy the taste buds. Sometimes you think it's too much and you just wanted to eat.
And sometimes you see the best intentions in the dishes, in the taste and the way they're served.
It's not a Michelin-starred restaurant. It's not the price of a McDonald's, and not necessarily the price of two.
Right on the port of Cassis, Balthazar offers you a feast.
I won't say any more; it's up to you to enjoy it.

I went with my parents, who are often picky eaters, and they loved it! The dishes are comforting, beautifully presented, and delicious with amazing flavor—you can really taste the quality.
And the service is great too! I recommend the burrata as a starter or the mussels, and the salmon or duck breast as a main course. In short, YUM! 😋

Everything was perfect! The servers were incredibly attentive, especially Elisa 😁, the cutlery and glasses were lovely, and the food was beautifully prepared (the salmon and avocado tartare and the tonka bean crème brûlée were perfect!). Thank you. I highly recommend it!
