A very warm welcome with a smile to boot!
We arrived as a group of nine and were able to get a table on the sunny terrace. The delicious food was much appreciated after the Marseille-Cassis race. The background music was also a lovely touch.

Great location on the port, pleasant welcome and service, unfortunately the dishes were a bit cold, but the cheese plate was excellent and generous.

We stopped for dinner at Balthazar. The setting is undeniably the restaurant's strongest point: the terrace overlooking the port of Cassis and the boats offers a magnificent view and a lovely atmosphere. As for the service, no complaints: a pleasant welcome, a professional team, and very good service throughout the meal. For our meals, we opted for salads. They were quite generous, but the overall presentation lacked imagination. Given the location, you're paying more for the picture-postcard view and the decor than for culinary creativity. A decent experience, but the food could be improved.

The waitress with glasses served us indifferently all evening. The food was good. However, the service could be much better. Last night, we had to pour our own bottle of not-so-cheap wine.

Wonderful dinner at Balthazar. The fresh fish (catch of the day) was outstanding. Our server Geraldine was so kind and attentive! Delicious authentic food. We sat outside with beautiful views of the harbor and surroundings.

Service was great, the view is amazing and honestly it was the meal I enjoyed the most in this area of France. I ordered the Seared Tuna and the Ratatouille, both cooked perfectly. Their bread was also the best id had yet in Marseille area 😆 a perfect little
quaint spot after hiking all day at the park.
