Still as good as ever. The brioche is good too. Poilane bread, the real deal, made with Grandpa's recipe. A perfect slice with a good country pâté or sheep's cheese, or even as a starter with a layer of avocado, cherry tomato, and a thin slice of salmon. Hey, that's convenient, Barthouil is just a few steps away.

An institution! The sourdough bread is simply exceptional, with a unique flavor and excellent keeping qualities. The shortbread cookies are also delicious. The atmosphere is authentic and true to tradition. The staff is welcoming and passionate. An iconic establishment that deserves its reputation.

I went there as soon as the door opened during my morning walk. I bought a slice of their signature Mishu Poualan bread and ate the apple pie because they said it was delicious. It was really delicious. I'm glad I tried it.

The lady who greeted me had a very kind voice and a smile. I tried several different types and bought a few plain cookies in different sizes. They were baked to different degrees and were really simple cookies with a homemade feel. I thought they had a stronger buttery milk flavor compared to the simple cookies you can find in Japan. I gave some to a friend as a souvenir and she was very happy.

23/05/2026: A little haven of peace, just behind the Moulin Rouge. The setting is truly pleasant and green. Ideal for having a drink, relaxing, and disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of the city. Quick and friendly service.
14/05/2026: Saying hello, thank you, and goodbye is optional, but the setting is exceptional, the cocktails are well-made, and the glasses are well-filled (so much so that we spilled some while walking to our table).
