Dakao Vieux-Port, France sur Marseille

The old port of Marseille seen from the heights, this city is fascinating because I have the impression of having two worlds. Leaving the train station you have large cities with lots of people and popular neighborhoods until you reach the old port. Once you are there, it is a rather chic and bling bling world, everything is made for tourism and you are amazed Take the time to sit on a bench and contemplate the sky, the sea... escape....

One of the best places in the world

Accommodation very well located, view of the port, close to all amenities, very lively area. The accommodation is refurbished, clean, easy to access, rather well equipped. There is what you need to spend a few days, but very very small. Once the bed is unfolded you can no longer move in the room! Advice for improvement: add pillows and put more protection on the bedding. Add a support in the shower to place different items for washing.

The mirror is very stunning. Tourist place to visit and much loved by tourists.

Stunning views but was full of people and nowhere to sit or bathrooms.

From a cruise ship, one can visit the old port of Marseille by taking the free shuttle bus from the cruise port. Just follow the green line on the ground. The walk will take around 15 minutes from the ship to the free shuttle bus stop. The bus will take you to the center and one can walk 5 to 10 minutes to reach the old port. It's a very beautiful place.

Nice place, always filled with people taking a walk by the sea, there are restaurants all along, very long walk. be careful from pickpocket while marching, great sunset view.

Magical place. Lots of things to see and do. Alone or with family, contrary to prejudice, I felt safe, never bothered by anyone. I can't wait to go back.
