A beautiful, old-fashioned tea room with exquisite pastries. We enjoyed delicious small plates for lunch and delectable, beautifully presented desserts. The ambiance is wonderful. We were served by Jose, who recommended the rhubarb tart and chocolate fondant. Very professional. Thank you so much, Jose, for this lovely experience. Isabel and her group from Málaga.

We have been coming here fairly regularly for years (3 times a year on average). Unfortunately, we have been disappointed lately. We were there on Saturday, April 25th. The cake of the day was touted as delicious, so my husband and I shared a slice of chocolate cake. We did not find it particularly special. The bill is always very expensive, the staff is not always friendly, sometimes curt and visibly grumpy. The space is very compact and the tables are very close together. The overall atmosphere is classic English tea house, but the chairs with iron backrests are terrible. A few years ago it was a nice concept, but we feel that the quality no longer justifies the price.

A warm welcome, excellent service, and coincidentally, the same goes for the contents of the cups and plates. The decor completes the experience, a fantastic and top-notch afternoon tea! Late April 2026: be aware that the upstairs room gets very hot in the sun.

08/04/2026: A meal with two of my sons, who are usually picky eaters. Everyone was happy. The dining room is quiet, the service excellent, quick, and above all, friendly. A restaurant I highly recommend for the quality of its menu, its daily specials, and its freshness. An institution and an excellent brasserie in Rouen. Bravo! 👏👏👏
04/02/2026: The welcome was rather lukewarm; we waited a while without being served. After flagging down a waitress, we were finally able to have lunch. The meal was simple, but the service was quick.

05/05/2026: Very good restaurant. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Perfect welcome. Professional and friendly staff. The set menu (pictured, with starter, main course, and dessert) that I ordered was very good but quite generous. Fish as a starter and andouillette sausage as a main course is a lot. There were no vegetables (apart from the fries) or fruit (for dessert), which is a shame. It would be good to revise the set menu and make it more balanced; I think that's important. 04/05/2026: We regularly visit D’eux Mêmes restaurant, and it’s always a resounding success. For us, it’s a must-visit on the Place du Vieux Marché in Rouen. You can immediately tell that the food is homemade with high-quality ingredients. The fish is always cooked to perfection, a true delight every time. The service is consistently excellent, with a warm welcome and a very professional team. The value for money is outstanding for cuisine of this quality in the heart of the historic center. A sure bet that we highly recommend!
