We went in because their products looked amazing, and not only did they look fantastic, but they tasted delicious too. Highly recommended, exquisite products.

I made a stop here because I was near Les Machines de L'ile and I could not have been luckier. The woman running the counter was very knowledgeable about the pastries (not something you often hear about in a food store). She told me the story of the gâteau nantais and you could tell that she was passionate about what she was making. And that was reflected well in the pastries I had. The Nantaise and the koign-amann were phenomenal. And all at a fair price. If you're on the island, stop by. If you are elsewhere in Nantes, it's a lovely city; a good walk to this shop would be well worth your time.

I highly recommend Delicatessaine; they were able to provide me with a delicious gluten-free and lactose-free birthday cake that was both mouthwatering and beautiful to look at! A real treat… my guests were blown away… hazelnut and blackberry. Thank you so much for ordering the day before… efficient and delicious… I'll be back as soon as possible!

Restaurant Le Violon Dingue

12/08/2026: We had a 7 PM reservation, but since we arrived a bit early, we ended up being the first guests of the evening. It was a little awkward and embarrassing, but thanks to the hostess who welcomed us warmly with funny jokes, it turned into a special dinner. Perhaps because French people usually don't have dinner until 8 PM, it seemed like mostly tourists were dining between 7 PM and 8 PM. As some of you may know, this place offers great value for money for a Michelin One-Star restaurant. The "cello menu" dinner includes a three-course meal for 90 euros. I found the ravioli I had as an appetizer to be the best, while my friend said the pigeon dish was exceptionally delicious. By just past 8 PM, the seats were almost full, and it seemed that the foie gras, duck, and pigeon dishes were particularly popular. Aside from the food, all the staff were so kind and diligent that it was a truly enjoyable experience. If you are near the Eiffel Tower, be sure to stop by.
