Dim Sum sur Frejus

First tip for tourists: this is the only restaurant open year-round on the port of Fréjus, and it's well worth a visit! If you're not a foodie or culture enthusiast, then this isn't the place for you. French is sometimes poorly spoken and misunderstood here, but once you get to know the locals, you realize how kind the staff and the manager are, and how cheerful the atmosphere is. Personally, we feel comfortable here, and we eat well, with generous portions and good quality food. It's a place we frequent. As for cash, it's understandable that local businesses prefer it; put yourself in their shoes with all the taxes they're constantly paying. In any case, we've never felt pressured to pay in cash. We find it surprising to read all these bad reviews, knowing the place. It makes you wonder if the competition is jealous of our Dim Sum. So, sit back, have a good pad thai, some grilled jiaozi, and a nice Tsingtao beer.

We had an excellent meal at Dim Sum. The owner's wife ran the entire place single-handedly—taking orders, cooking, and serving—all very quickly. She told us everything was handmade by her, and you could taste the difference. The nems were delicious, the sushi was the best we've ever had, and everything else was also very good. The ambiance could be improved to make it look more like a restaurant than a fast-food joint, because the food is perfect!

it was a emptier than the restaurants next to it but the woman working there served a super well and the food was delicious and the price was really really reasonable. Absolutely recommended!!

Honestly, I don't understand the people who gave it one star? I'm used to eating sushi and miso soup, and I found them fantastic and delicious. The soup was hot and delicious. And I'm usually picky about soup. The waitress was super friendly and smiling. You wait about 15 minutes, but everything is served at the same time (we ordered 9 pieces of sushi, 2 miso soups, and 2 wakame seaweed dishes, and it came to about €80, which is totally reasonable for sushi). (And for those complaining about not getting a knife, it's an Asian restaurant; you normally eat with chopsticks.) Anyway, GO FOR IT!!!

Luckily, we didn't rely solely on reviews, otherwise we would have missed one of the best experiences in Fréjus! Fresh ingredients and handmade dishes prepared with the traditional expertise of our host; we were served generous portions and it was absolutely delicious. Halal, gluten-free, or vegetarian, there's something for everyone. We've rarely enjoyed a meal so much and were welcomed very late despite it being past closing time. Thank you for everything!

Exceptional dishes, everything is handmade with passion. The manager is lovely, she pays close attention to customer comfort and serves generous portions. A big plus is the pet bowl at the entrance. I highly recommend it; the cuisine is suitable for everyone. An experience not to be missed in Fréjus!

Great restaurant with delicious food at a very affordable price, a must-try!

An excellent place to eat in Fréjus! We go back every time we're in the area and we enjoy it every time. The owner is lovely and prepares all the homemade dishes herself, fresh to order. It's fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious! There might be a bit of a wait, but that's normal since everything is prepared on-site. And it's definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend this place!

I recommend it. We had pad thai which was delicious. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the sushi. But everything else was delicious. The staff is lovely and the prices are very reasonable.
