As soon as I saw the pennants hanging in front of the restaurant door and the gold leaf draped around the pillars inside, I felt like I was back in Bali. I ordered the Beef Rendang, of course, and it was perfect for my taste. If I had added green chili sauce and cassava leaves, it would have been even more delicious. But for me, the rendang alone was enough to satisfy my longing for Indonesia. Hopefully, I can visit again sometime, and who knows, maybe we'll have some new Balinese dishes on the menu. Thank you for your hospitality and delicious food.

This restaurant is fantastic and very good. It's the second time I've eaten there and I'm definitely not disappointed. The team is top-notch. My partner and I appreciated the setting, the atmosphere, the service, and their culinary specialties.

Excellent! Perfect evening! This is my second time here. The food was excellent, and the staff and host were incredibly welcoming. After three days of attending a conference in Paris, my local palate had honestly given up on bread and butter. When I was about to have dinner, I casually searched for an Indonesian restaurant near me on Maps and found Djakarta Bali. As soon as I took my first bite of the Parisian beef rendang, I felt like crying, it really cured the fatigue of a long day of meetings! The staff were very friendly, asking how I was in Indonesian. Hands down, the best Indonesian restaurant Paris has!

I'd been hearing about this restaurant for a while and finally decided to try it today. I really enjoyed the experience. From the appetizer to the main course and dessert, it was flawless. The service was excellent, and the waiters were very friendly. For authentic cuisine that's a refreshing change from the usual fare, it's definitely worth a visit.

25/08/2026: What a pleasant surprise this little restaurant was! I was looking for a good meal for under €10. Choosing the beef bo bun, which was served incredibly quickly even though it was past 2 pm, I was absolutely delighted. The lady was incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and transparent about the fact that the spring rolls are vegetarian (to cater to all customers). And the bo bun was truly excellent and quite filling. Next time I'm in Paris, there's a pretty 100% chance I'll go back to try another dish!

28/07/2026: We had dinner here for the second time today during our stay in Paris. The food was very good, but unfortunately, my pho had more duck than beef. The pho my daughter had three days ago was much better, with only fresh beef – it was excellent. We had no complaints about our other appetizers and main courses, and we would definitely recommend this restaurant as a hidden gem.
