We had lunch in a magnificent setting both indoors and outdoors. The signature menu is simply breathtaking and is accompanied by wines recommended by an excellent sommelier. All the staff are welcoming and professional. In short, an exceptional restaurant in a peaceful green setting.

The Domaine de Clairefontaine begins with a place.
A remote paradise setting in the village of Chonas l'Amballan.
On this day (09/19/24), we were able to participate in a wine tasting on the Terrace with a Grand Soleil.
Let's taste local... and what could be better than to enhance that with the second point: the food!
Tasty dishes, generous plates, a fantastic chartreuse dessert... I'm won over.
But the whole thing is enhanced by an incredible team!
Thank you to the Staff and in particular to Axel, for these valuable oenological advice and to Fanny for her responsiveness and her service!
I will come back be sure :)

The Clairefontaine estate is a stopover that we appreciate. Close to the exit of Vienna and in a very quiet and wooded location, you will find rest and 2 excellent restaurants: a bistro and a Michelin-starred one. I recommend

A place that leaves me with ambivalent feelings.
Positive: Beautiful park, exquisite food, extensive breakfast buffet, friendly staff, spacious rooms with a large bathroom and a large safe.
Negative: a really ugly pond with lethargic koi, resulting in thousands of mosquitoes, which severely disrupt an aperitif in the garden. Despite already very high room prices, charging the electric vehicle is charged at a flat rate of 10 euros per charging process (!). In addition, 1.5 out of 4 columns are defective. The room terraces are dirty, the uncomfortable and rusty metal chairs have no cushions.

It's always a pleasure to stay at Clairefontaine.
It is a family home that has a soul. The chef and his teams continue this tradition.
The food, the accommodation, the welcome, everything is really done to make guests feel good.
