Excellent food, perfect service, friendly staff

I'm only giving it 3 stars because of the service. The meal itself is decent value for money. My first complaint was that the aperitif was brought to us at the same time as the main course. Then, there were five of us, and we had to ask several times for bread. I should point out that we didn't order pizzas, but rather main courses and salads. For a table of five, we were brought three small rolls—oops! We had to ask again for five, which the waitress didn't appreciate. Getting a carafe of water was the same struggle; we had to ask several times. The main courses were satisfactory. I was disappointed by the service and a comment made by a waiter about the three salads we ordered. Since there were three of us women, he felt entitled to say, "Salad for the ladies, for their waistlines, of course." Such a comment should be removed from his vocabulary. Basically, this is just to say that when you're in a restaurant... It's considered a good restaurant on one condition: once you sit down, you should never have to ask for anything. Everything should be on the table. I won't be back. After your response, which doesn't justify our experience at your establishment, Mr. Owner. I understand human error, but in this case, it was a series of mistakes during a single meal.

Excellent and very generous meal. The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere very pleasant, and the decor transports you to Italy for the duration of your meal.

Disappointed with our visit, we were two without a reservation and were refused entry because they were supposedly full, so we ordered takeout. Then a group of at least six people arrived without a reservation, but they were allowed in while we were told they were full. I find this unacceptable.

Excellent food, very fast and friendly service, all in an Italian atmosphere. The menu is varied and the prices are reasonable. Go without hesitation!
