Always a top-notch welcome, always a pleasure to come to Don Camillo!

In the Pamiers shopping area, we stopped at the second Don Camillo, run by Djani and his team, in a superb and beautifully decorated restaurant. The service is smooth and efficient, and the quality of the cuisine, like in Foix, is refined and generous. It's advisable to reserve a table on the terrace; there's a large dining room for groups. Recommended by the Routard travel guide team for campervan and motorcyclist enthusiasts.

What a wonderful discovery! We went twice: the first time as a family on a Friday evening. The main dining room and the veranda were packed, and we had a reservation. Seated in the veranda, decorated in a "dolce vita" style, we received a superb welcome from attentive staff. The meal was flawless: generous, delicious, and served on elegant tableware. The owner made the rounds of the restaurant, checking on each customer to ensure everything was alright—such a lovely touch, a rare find these days. The second time (last night, a Sunday), we called to ask if we could still come. A very pleasant man told us they were closing their doors, but that if we arrived quickly, we would be accommodated. Upon arrival, we found only two tables left! Another warm welcome awaited us. We dined in the magnificent main dining room, with its unique, carefully curated, and elegant decor. Perfect for a romantic dinner. The waitresses were very friendly, attentive, and smiling. No one rushed us or made us feel like we had arrived late. I had the truffle gnocchi, oh my goodness, what a delight! It had been so long since my taste buds had experienced such an explosion of flavor. A real truffle dish, no gimmicks, not just a couple of truffle slices, but a generous and perfectly balanced dish, neither too much nor too little! And the tiramisu was just as generous, a real one! In short... Thank you so much for your attentiveness to your customers and for the warm welcome. Thank you for this Italian moment in the heart of Ariège. See you soon.

I absolutely love this Italian restaurant, which I've been going to for several years now 😊 The menu is varied, the dishes are always of very high quality, and I'm never disappointed. It has a really welcoming atmosphere, especially thanks to the warm welcome from the staff. Special mention also goes to the recently updated decor, which is truly lovely. I highly recommend it!

A real gem! It's definitely my favorite restaurant in Ariège. I've had the chance to try several dishes, and everything is absolutely excellent. You can taste the quality and care in every plate, with a slight preference for the ribeye steak. The atmosphere is incredible, always lively and welcoming; we always have a fantastic time. The servers are top-notch: professional, attentive, and truly lovely, which makes all the difference. And the decor... simply magnificent; you immediately feel at home. Honestly, a must-try in Ariège; I recommend it without hesitation!
