the decor is magnificent and the end of the evening just as much
I strongly advise you to book in advance and take a room in the adjoining castle

05/09/2024: I visited this restaurant and was really surprised. All of the dishes were exquisite, and I felt that they brought out the original flavors of the ingredients to the fullest. It goes especially well with wine, and I couldn't help but smile at the rich flavor that spread through my mouth.
The atmosphere inside the store was very comfortable and I was able to spend a relaxing time there. It was a wonderful experience that made me want to come back again, as I could feel the chef's dedication and passion in each dish.
This restaurant is a place where you can rediscover the joy of food. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Quality cuisine, friendly welcome, pleasant atmosphere.
If we return to Foix, there is a good chance we will stop there again. And this time it won’t be by chance 😉
Above all, do not focus on the particularly negative opinion which dates back several years, they are no longer the same owners.

15/09/2024: Le rituel annuel, un weekend en amoureux à la petite auberge☺️. Accueil chaleureux on se sent chez soi. Chambre très propre bien insonorisée literie top sèche cheveux bouilloire café thé à dispo. Petit déjeuner local avec pains de toutes sortes viennoiseries fromages et charcuterie ariegeoises. Côté resto que du local aussi. Croustade aux pommes à tomber, filet de bœuf hyper tendre...merci à la jeune dame qui sert en salle son sourire sa gentillesse même quand la salle est pleine. Merci aux cuisines aussi 🙏. Merci à Fabien et toute son équipe pour cette parenthèse ariegeoise très agréable.

It was exceptional!
Special mention for the burrata salad as original as it is full of flavors.

09/09/2024: If you are looking for a very good restaurant in Foix, this is it. Tasty dishes, attentive boss and waitresses with just the right word for everyone. We ate there twice in a week, it was so good. Little nugget: the crayfish casserole and the duck tournedos and its porcini mushroom sauce.... a killer! We will keep very good memories of our Ariège holiday.
