Don Peppone sur Gradignan

It was very good and the Italian atmosphere with the decor is really lovely. The waiters are very friendly.

An Italian restaurant that does the job, nothing more. You have to send it. This time I had a saltimbocca veal cutlet, a generous portion, cooked well. However, the presentation was lacking, with no aesthetic effort. A shame. The baguette was excellent. Very busy on a Monday lunchtime, tables too close together. Pricey at €25. Trattoria-style decor. Clean dining room.

Excellent discovery! Authentic Italian cuisine, quality ingredients, and truly delicious dishes. You can taste the homemade quality and respect for traditional recipes. The welcome is warm, the service attentive, and the atmosphere very pleasant. An address I wholeheartedly recommend, and where I will gladly return! Charles is fantastic.

The Italian pizza is good but the Landes pizza is average, with just duck and uncooked mushrooms, so not very appetizing, without bacon or gizzards.

I've been a regular at this restaurant for years because they make fresh, homemade pasta. I usually order the tagliatelle carbonara. But lately, two or three times in several months, I've been disappointed because the more I go, the less pancetta and cream there is, and let's not even mention the non-existent egg. So much so that the last time I went, it tasted like plain pasta. I had to complain, and apparently, I wasn't the only one. The table next to me had the same issue. And when I went to the register, a woman had also complained about the same dish. So, I'm not sure I'll go back. And while I used to recommend this restaurant, I now think there are better Italian restaurants in terms of quality.

It was really quite good, the restaurant is beautiful. Although I wasn't disappointed by the food, I found the prices a bit too high. I'd give it 4.5 stars, but I still recommend it!

Ragazzi da Peppone pizzeria in Gradignan offers very high-quality pizzas! I had a medium pizza, and it was excellent, generously topped with fresh ingredients. You can really taste the expertise and quality of the ingredients. My only slight complaint is that the prices seem a bit high, but the quality is definitely there. A great place for lovers of authentic Italian pizza!

Fantastic place! The food is delicious, the servers are very pleasant, and the manager is great! Delighted to have discovered Peponne, and especially the one in Gradignan. A shout-out to the manager!

With its small facade overlooking the main avenue, the surprise is immediate upon entering: a space with several tables and an upstairs area promises a pleasant experience – you're in Italy! The decor is typical and welcoming, and a smiling greeting completes your arrival. The menu is Italian, featuring local products. It's not just about pizza! Salads, pasta, and other dishes round out the offerings. A quick glance at the desserts confirms my suspicion: I'm in for a treat. And so it was, but I was disappointed by my salad: a small slice of toasted bread, cut in half, topped with lightly cooked tomato cubes seasoned with a light pesto (I think), a chiffonade of Italian ham (three bites), a large ball of Italian cheese cut into slices and laid across the plate, drizzled with olive oil, and a mound of romaine lettuce topped with mesclun salad covering the rest of the plate. €17.95. It was good, but...frankly, a bit meager for a main course. I wanted a salad, and I got a salad. The dessert...? Mmm, yum! A beautiful floating island with flowing caramel and almond slivers...a very generous portion. It was fantastic. And what about the desserts from the neighbors...the profiteroles!! Three beautiful cream puffs covered in chocolate, dancing in a cloud of whipped cream...or perhaps a crumble... So yes, it's good, it's enjoyable, but a bit pricey... However, the ingredients are local, and we're right in the center of Gradignan...and...we had a lovely time.
