A trendy spot for young people to enjoy various tea and fruit-based drinks, including bubble tea—a marketing concept originating in Asia—of affordable, popular beverages that have become almost luxurious in Paris, priced around €8. You order via the machines, only to be overwhelmed by the dozens of toppings and extras, and the hundred or so different combinations. You pay by card and are then given an order number, which is quickly prepared in the back. An efficient way to eliminate queues and the endless dithering of French customers. The drink is refreshing and reasonably sweet. You can enjoy it while taking advantage of the air conditioning during these sweltering days.

As a milk tea lover, I can tell that this shop uses relatively high-quality tea bases to make their milk tea. It has a smooth texture and a natural tea aroma, rather than chemical flavorings and additives, and the price is affordable and offers great value. Because the shop is located in a relatively low-traffic area, the dine-in experience is also quite good. I recommend their milk tea series: Jasmin Brise (thé vert au jasmin), Phénix Renaît (thé oolong), and Classic Forever (thé noir), choosing no sugar or a maximum of 20% sugar. I regularly go to Doriimu, and in my opinion, only the milk-based bubble teas with brown sugar are truly reliable. I wanted to try the mango mochi bubble tea with an extra tapioca pearl (0.50 €). I actually think it's a shame to have to pay extra for the tapioca pearls, which are the main ingredient in bubble tea. The fruity bubble teas are good, but without the included pearls, it feels more like a fruit drink than a real bubble tea. The taste was good, but the mochi's texture was far too slimy, almost like goo. It didn't live up to my expectations at all, and I won't be ordering it again. The shop is nice and pleasant, but often crowded, so it's difficult to find a seat.

I saw the Basque cheesecake featured on Instagram and rushed over because I work nearby and I'm a huge cheesecake fan. I found the cheesecake delicious, truly, but I thought it was far too expensive for the tiny slice you found in the box once it was opened. You don't see the cake beforehand, nor the person cutting it. It's given to you in the box, which is then placed in a bag ready to take away. I'm only giving it three stars because of the small portion for seven euros!
