Food-wise: the food wasn't bad per se, but far from good. Even for Spanish tapas, the dishes lacked flavor and were poorly prepared. Atmosphere and service-wise: the atmosphere was practically nonexistent, especially with the complete absence of background music. This is a shame because it doesn't contribute to a convivial atmosphere. One positive point worth mentioning: the young waitress was very pleasant and smiling. Negative experience: unfortunately, the most shocking aspect was the way we were "invited" to leave. The staff cleared the entire terrace in front of us, placing the chairs on the adjacent tables, to make it clear that it was time to leave. Conclusion: as the owner pointed out when we paid, this restaurant has been open since 2001. It's obvious they haven't tried to innovate or improve the quality of the food and overall service. This is a shame for what is clearly a Marseille institution. The quality of restaurants is exploding in the city, it might be high time to wake up in order to remain competitive!
