29/04/2026: Had such a lovely dinner! Patrice is passionate and so friendly. He speaks English, French, or Spanish! He walks you through the menu and is super helpful with the dishes. We got the calamari, anchovies, peppers and tuna, and the potats. I loved them all!!! The calamari wasn’t overly breaded and cooked well. The anchovies were buttery and salty. The peppers were stuffed with tuna which was my fiancés favourite and the potats were crispy and the sauce on it was delicious. I wish we didn’t wait until our last night in Paris to come because this would’ve been a spot we’d come to regularly. If you’re itching for some tapas or a little taste of Basque Country, you need to come here!

01/05/2026: We had a lovely evening at this establishment. We tried nine tapas from the entire menu. Overall, everything was good, but I found some of them a bit too simple, like the potatoes with garlic sauce and the duck with honey. The sangria was good. Friendly service.

We tried several establishments in St. Lary, and our favorite remains, without a doubt, "Au Balcon". 26/04/2026: I just had lunch with my family on the terrace, thanks to a reservation made by my daughter who lives in Toulouse. I wasn't disappointed at all; the service was impeccable, professional, and attentive. The food was beautifully presented and, most importantly, delicious, from the appetizers and shellfish to the meat. Everything was cooked exactly as we requested. To complement the meal, the wines we tasted were perfect. All this for a reasonable price for a Sunday in Toulouse. I will definitely be back. Reservations are essential.

09/04/2026: I discovered La Luz in 2018 and went there regularly until December 2024. The place has retained its original charm, with its wood paneling and Basque glasses, giving it a holiday feel reminiscent of a family home. I'm so happy to have found delicious tapas again and I can't wait to try the entire menu. The tortilla is a sure thing; it's even better than I remembered. Kudos to the chef!
