Dounia Zed used to have an excellent reputation. My last visit was slightly disappointing. I ordered couscous. The semolina was good. The broth was rather thin, and the dominant taste was that of bouillon cubes. The meatballs were excellent.

What can I say except that I've rarely eaten such good couscous, I'd even say better than in Marrakech. Generous portions of vegetables and semolina, and the meat and merguez sausages were delicious!

Perfect! Hearty, excellent, reasonably priced. We'll be back.

A truly simple couscous, cooked with heart. The service was a bit slow if you're working, but it's a good place for those who love Moroccan cuisine.

Superb restaurant where you can savor REAL couscous (the kind I ate in Morocco). I discovered this fantastic restaurant thanks to my colleague (thanks Jacqui 🫶). The couscous is simply excellent, the young man and woman (servers) are super friendly, and the restaurant's decor is authentically Moroccan. You absolutely must book in advance because the restaurant is always full.

A real gem! The couscous here is simply exceptional: light and airy semolina, meltingly tender and perfectly seasoned vegetables, and generous portions of tender meat. Each bite is a blend of authentic flavors, with a perfect balance of spices and homemade harissa that enhances everything beautifully. The service is impeccable: warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The restaurant's atmosphere is convivial and authentic, making you feel like you're visiting friends. You can taste the passion and expertise behind every dish. A must-visit for all lovers of Middle Eastern cuisine; I'll definitely be back!
