Dounia Zed used to have an excellent reputation. My last visit was slightly disappointing. I ordered couscous. The semolina was good. The broth was rather thin, and the dominant taste was that of bouillon cubes. The meatballs were excellent.

What can I say except that I've rarely eaten such good couscous, I'd even say better than in Marrakech. Generous portions of vegetables and semolina, and the meat and merguez sausages were delicious!

10/01/2026: We were a party of five for New Year’s Eve dinner and had a wonderful time. Lovely, attentive service, a relaxed atmosphere, and amazing food. We never felt rushed, which made the evening even more enjoyable. A perfect spot in the Old Town. Thank you!
29/12/2025: We had cod and pork tenderloin with pistachio croquettes. Both were excellent! The cod was succulent, and the sauce was very flavorful without overpowering the fish. The pork tenderloin was beautifully grilled and glazed. The fish was served with a wonderfully lemony polenta. Everything was very well prepared. The service was attentive and courteous. A truly delightful experience! The quoted price includes a bottle of excellent wine and a glass of very good Calvados.

19/07/2026: Absolutely flawless! We had a perfect evening at La Vigna. A huge thank you to Farah, who was exceptional from beginning to end: smiling, warm, attentive, and always looking after our guests. The kind of service we wish we saw more often! She greatly contributed to making this dinner a truly delightful experience. As for the food, the tuna tartare served with fries was a real treat: impeccably fresh, flavorful, and generous. Every bite was delicious. Add to that excellent value for money, and you have a restaurant that truly deserves to be known. We left completely won over and will be back very soon. One thing is for sure: La Vigna is now one of our favorite restaurants in Nice!
