A great place to have an early breakfast in Reims.

I came to Reims with zero expectations and an extra challenge: a young, but large puppy doggo that was too young to stay alone at the hotel. When in search for a place for lunch, I stumbled upon En Aparthé by accident and boy, did it deliver! What a place to visit in winter time: not only did I step into a mini-winter wonderland, but the staff fully welcomed the package deal of a single costumer with a baby doggo. In terms of a big paycheck: that’s a no no. But in terms of 100% appreciation from my side: I cannot thank the team enough. I was hungry, thirsty and (I have to be honest) tired after a long trip and I was pampered from beginning to end and found a second home far from mine to relax and come to ease. The food was deliciously prepped and I found it very sad I could not taste every single pastry that was beautifully presented at the display. The staff was just one wink away, not too pushy and very helpful. I had the chance to thank the chef in person, a delight of a woman who really gave her all and was so proud at the work she does. Thank you team, for making it a total experience of both atmosphere, hospitality and great food. When in Reims, come to this place and discover a small worlds after all. A small bubble of coziness at the heart of the city center. As bonus: no reservation needed, just good luck, because it’s a second home for sure. Keep up the good work! After the takeaway service, I finally had the time to stay for breakfast and lunch. It was a wonderful experience; the decor is truly soothing, the service is both warm and efficient, and the dishes and desserts are as delicious as they are beautiful. It's a place you can go to without hesitation, and I can't wait to return!

The pastries are exceptional! It's been a very long time since I've enjoyed sweet treats this much. A beautiful shop and a remarkable pastry chef!
