I take away two stars for the cone which unfortunately each time is very hard it's a shame the ice cream is really good a lot of choice but the cone is really not edible especially towards the end you can break your teeth limit and the tourists next to me were of the same opinion, the cone was too hard so it ruined the fun, the pigeons right next to me took care of it but hey, at almost 6 euros for the ice cream, we would have liked an edible cone, best regards.

Excellent artisanal ice creams with unusual flavors and what’s more, the spoon is made of biscuit! I highly recommend! And special mention to the “Cannelé” flavor which was delicious!

Le 25 juin 2024. Personnel agréable. Une visite de La Rochelle sous un gros soleil un rafraîchissement. Des glaces à tomber, une grande variété de parfums, un cornet croustillant du début à la fin. Même la petite cuillère est comestible.

31/08/2024: Excellent accueil. Service au top 👌🏻 Toujours agréable. Belle terrasse sur la place. Cuisine maison avec des tarifs très abordables
18/08/2024: When we visited a full menu was displayed but only pizzas available. Not clear why. The pizzas were cooked one at a time, so service took a while, but they were very fresh. Decent range of flavours, tasty and generous. Popular venue. Service was fine though the waiter was struggling as to how to do particulars and would probably benefit from further training.

Les Fils a Maman La Rochelle

12/08/2024: We had a pleasant time. The staff is great and the decor reminds us of our childhood. A small downside: overcooking and the presence of nerves in children's chicken.
