Les meilleurs restaurants en La Rochelle

05/09/2026: Unsurprisingly, this is clearly the best sushi restaurant I've ever tried! 🍣😍 You can really taste how fresh everything is, and it makes all the difference. A real treat! 🤤 Plus, the owners are very kind and welcoming! Thanks again 🙏

05/09/2026: The best sushi restaurant ever! The ingredients are fresh and everything is homemade! We absolutely loved it! Plus, the service was warm and very friendly.

13/09/2026: The staff were very friendly and the lunch menu offered excellent value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and even got a table without a reservation.

30/08/2026: A wonderful discovery: L’Ardoise des Cloutiers! This restaurant offers refined, generous, and flavorful cuisine, with remarkable value for money. We started with two different appetizers: the perfectly cooked egg with feta and eggplant caviar, beautifully executed, with an original and balanced combination of flavors. The other was the Saint-Marcellin cheese, crispy on the outside and meltingly soft on the inside: a particularly indulgent starter. For our main course, we chose the chicken ballotine with mashed potatoes and a rich jus. A very successful dish, with tender chicken, smooth mashed potatoes, and a well-reduced jus that added great depth to the dish. To accompany our meal, we ordered a carafe of Chinon wine, which was of excellent quality and paired perfectly with the dishes. And to finish, French toast with salted caramel: indulgent, comforting, and perfectly balanced with that touch of salt that enhances the caramel. A little tip: reservations are highly recommended! The restaurant was full when we visited, so the service was a bit slow. But honestly, it was well worth the wait. The staff is very friendly, and the wait is quickly forgotten once the food arrives. And above all, it's hard not to mention the price: €25.50 for a starter, main course, and dessert. At this level of quality, it's excellent value for money. A great place to eat in La Rochelle, with refined cuisine, generous portions, and prices that remain very reasonable. We'll gladly return!

09/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! We loved the warm welcome and, above all, the quality of the food. From the pho to the sliced beef, including the homemade spring rolls and steamed dumplings, everything was truly delicious and bursting with flavor. And the Vietnamese coffee to finish the meal was perfect! We're delighted to have discovered this place and will definitely be returning.

08/09/2026: One telltale sign: the presence of many regulars. Of course, there were the essential Vietnamese dishes, but not only that, and certainly many discoveries that will make you want to come back. 16/09/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! We received a warm welcome upon arrival, with excellent service. Our waiter, Louis I believe, was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We ordered the pasta with gorgonzola and… wow! 🤤 It was so good that I couldn't resist ordering a second helping. 20/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic! We've been in Laleu for four years, and this was our favorite pizzeria in the area. The change of ownership has been a success! We were worried, but it's even better! There's a wider selection on the menu, including classics like goat cheese and honey, the careful distribution of the toppings makes all the difference, and the crust is perfect. Thomas and his wife are also very friendly. My sister lives just two streets away, and we've definitely become regulars 😉 By the way, it's now easy to reach them by phone, which wasn't the case before. Don't change a thing, we're loyal customers!

20/07/2026: The pizzas are of good quality.

22/09/2026: Excellent food every time. THANK YOU

26/08/2026: Good quality broth food, tried 6 months ago out of season. But they refused to seat me today at 12:45 (during peak season, of course), even though I waited and half the restaurant was empty: was it fully booked? Clearly not in keeping with the broth spirit... Disappointing...

21/08/2026: Bravo, everything is perfect. The welcome, the price, the quality of the food. Thank you and best of luck!
