Ernest ice cream parlor is a La Rochelle institution. We got two ice creams at the port. The service was friendly, but there weren't enough flavors. We were a little disappointed with the selection, but the taste was still good.

I came specifically for this ice cream shop, which was unfortunately closed. The owner also runs the brasserie across the street, and I jokingly told him I was pregnant, suffering from sciatica, and had come especially for this. He was kind enough to make me an ice cream. Thank you to this kind gentleman who satisfied my pregnant craving! 😂

I love it when there's a wide variety of flavors, especially unique ones, and this place certainly delivered! I got poppy, canelé, and gazelle horn. I really enjoyed them. Poppy was my favorite.
