The staff is really friendly, the prices are very reasonable, there's a great selection of drinks, and the video game area is big enough to keep everyone entertained. An excellent spot!

A wonderful surprise! I came one afternoon with my 11-year-old son and we loved it! An amazing selection: consoles, games, arcade games, and drinks with a huge variety of syrups. Special mention to the milkshake! I've never seen anything like it! And to top it all off, the staff is fantastic: welcoming, friendly, patient, and helpful. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. I'll be back! I highly recommend it!

I discovered this board game bar while participating in the Odyssée Ludique! A fun little HQ with a great atmosphere, lots of people, and plenty of games! I received a super warm welcome, and the staff are really lovely. And the coconut milkshake is delicious; I'll definitely be back even though I'm not very good at Pac-Man… 😂

I love stopping by every time I'm in Paris. Great concept with excellent service. You can chat, play arcade games or video games, or even read manga. The drinks are well-served and of good quality.

Finding the Extra Life Cafe feels like discovering a warp zone in a video game. Everyone there was very friendly, ready to answer questions and engage with adult and children. The space is decked out for video game enthusiasts. My teenager was slack jawed when we walked in and knew immediately these were kindred spirits. They have lots of options for gaming from classic console games and arcade machines to computer games like Roblox. They also have a huge collection of Manga; however, it's necessary to read French for the full experience. It's still worth looking at the variant covers and seeing how the art compares in other countries. If you have trouble navigating the French game menus, the staff is standing by to help get you set up. It's a nice diversion from the intensity of trying to visit the more crowded tourist attractions in Paris. The game area is a bit hot, but there are fans to keep you comfortable. The cafe upstairs is charming.

ExtraLife Cafe was an amazing experience while visiting Paris. When we entered the cafe we received a warm greeting from Paul, who let me just say was amazing. I would highly recommend the guy for a pay raise. As native English speakers he made us feel welcomed from the moment we stepped inside. We made our way downstairs where there was an incredible collection of retro arcade machines, rhythm games and console games. I sat myself down for nearly 6 hours of play on a cabinet featuring Windjammers. The machines were well maintained and everything worked well. My son played "Goat Simulator 3" on one of the console setups and well it looks like I'll be purchasing that when I get home from vacation. I met both the owners yesterday who were both kind and welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. If I was a local to Paris and I enjoyed gaming, I would definitely make this my regular hangout. Thank you to everyone at ExtraLife Cafe for the awesome experience yesterday.

Hello, I'm leaving a review based on firsthand experience, as I've been a regular at this establishment for almost four years now. To be honest, L'ExtraLifeCafe is the arcade haven in Paris, featuring authentic vintage equipment, maintained by two passionate owners and their team. The previous reviews are consistently positive. Whether you're just passing through Paris for leisure or a regular and member of the community, it's a fantastic place. Great selection of drinks, events almost every evening, excellent kids' club, an incredibly diverse and amazing games area downstairs, and an absurdly large manga library: There are 15 meters of wall space filled with books, all neatly arranged and in good condition. The prices are very reasonable, and the owners are friendly and brimming with passion and warmth. Thank you, Greg and Ghislain, for keeping L'ExtraLifeCafe going every day. (Except on Tuesdays! :D)

First visit yesterday, a warm welcome, great atmosphere!! The milkshake recommended by the waitress was fantastic!! They helped me with the arcade machines, offering helpful advice without being intrusive!! Superb decor, it's a shame I live so far away. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and showing it to my son. The icing on the cake? The price is more than reasonable!!
