Flunch sur Fayet

It's a shame to have to pay for a bottle of water because my son doesn't drink fizzy drinks or anything like that. They only want to offer fountain water in Amiens; the bottle of Vittel is included with the meal.

The menus were varied, clean, and plentiful; I'll be back.

A very popular establishment. Never disappointed at Flunch.

Truly very disappointing! The prices are too high, the buffet and drinks were poorly explained (just an empty soda glass cost almost 3 euros). It's my fault, I didn't know that the water glasses were located in the dining area. The atmosphere was like a school cafeteria; the staff serving the food either disappeared or were as lost as we were (Do you want Parmesan? Nope, there isn't any left). If you're unlucky enough to order an all-you-can-eat dish the first time, everything's fine, but if you come back with your ticket already torn off, you don't even get Madeira sauce anymore. In short, I haven't been back in a long time and I won't be returning. Not to mention the surprise of the children's menu, which is just very mediocre. Even the person who took our trays said, "Yes, it's really not great."

We ordered a Parisian salad and a Caesar salad; they were very good and the portions were just right. As for the ham wraps and rosette bread, they were a little dry. They also needed a sauce.

Every time I go to Flunch, everything goes well and I'm generally satisfied. However, the only downside concerns the crepes. I always order one, but on my last two visits, they weren't cooked enough. Also, the Nutella is now put on top rather than inside. It might look nicer, but it tastes much better when it's inside.

Overall, a positive review. The staff is generally friendly, with one exception that proves the rule: a waitress who was particularly unpleasant to all the customers, which lowered the rating. A shame.

The recipe, quantity, and quality are random and depend on who places the order. For example, I ordered crepes three times, and each time they were prepared differently: once with Nutella only on top, once with Nutella only inside, and another time with Nutella both inside and on top. You never know what you're going to get when you order.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today with the Tennessee salad and andouillette sausage; the choice of vegetables was perfect.
