The staff were very kind and welcoming, but the hygiene is questionable, especially regarding the cups.

It's a self-service restaurant! The vegetables are good and unlimited! Desserts and coffee were served by smiling, friendly staff who knew their products perfectly. We were three adults. Two were satisfied with their meals. I wasn't; my steak à l'âge, ordered rare, was overcooked, and their monitoring devices weren't working! The red wine from the barrel had a problem, so I opted for a small bottle! (It can happen, but at noon! That barrel should have been checked!) I've been to three Flunch restaurants: Tours, Paris, and Maubeuge. Maubeuge is better than the other two. Our 3.5-star rating is justified. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, except that the men's accessible toilet was out of order.

I went there at lunchtime, and right away a member of staff bumped into me in the entrance, clearly fed up with everything. She didn't apologize, but that's to be expected. I ran into the same woman at the grill, still as welcoming as a prison guard. She made me wait ages for my burger, even though the buzzer had gone off. When I asked if I could take the only burger on the serving hatch, she barked at me like a pit bull, saying she was alone and apparently busy watching other meat cook. A simple "yes" would have sufficed. As a result, I waited for her approval to get my plate and ended up eating it cold. I understand it can't be fun working on Sundays, but the customers aren't responsible for that; we shouldn't have to pay for her obvious bad mood. Perhaps they should remove the slogans from the t-shirts, "Always more flavor, always more smiles," because it's misleading.

We came here specifically for lunch on our way home from Paris to Germany, to take a break with the family... Everything was great and definitely better than a motorway service station 😋

Delicious food 5/5 Service 4.5/5 Explanation: The dessert server dropped their spatula on the floor and picked it up but didn't clean it up. I don't think that's acceptable. Atmosphere 4.5/5 Explanation: They should play some music. But I'm still giving it a 4/5.

Sandwiches: 5/5, professional staff, and good ingredients. The restaurant itself is another story. I came three months ago with friends, wanting to order a student meal deal advertised at €9.95 on the app and on the TVs right above the registers! Imagine my surprise when I was charged €10.95, with them saying it was "an old ad." The law says you have to pay the advertised price, not a higher one. I didn't mean to be a difficult customer, but still... The food quality is so-so, except for the sandwiches. A while back, the bespectacled security guard who thinks she's Rambo came over to tell us that the children's menu is only for children up to 10 years old. She took our drinks and drained them completely (a whole glass). What a waste! Besides, their job is to supervise, not to act like they're something special. Even the cashier wasn't surprised. Furthermore, please protect the open-air appetizers/desserts; hello, droplets and dust! I don't understand how the health department lets this slide. Aside from that, I enjoy coming to Flunch when everything is going well.

Oh dear... what's going on? The ice cream orderers are chatting amongst themselves, yes, that's great, but they're paying to get what they're owed 🫪 while waiting for the ice cream to be made for half an hour 🙂‍↕️🙏🏻 Many then leave for the restaurant. A woman in the back kitchen is losing her temper with her colleagues. "Be careful in the dining room! We can hear everything, please! We have enough to deal with during the week at work without the weekend being a bit the same. It's a shame. Thank you anyway for sorting out your little problems elsewhere. Thank you so much!"
