French Caprices sur Rouen

I just ordered a pizza and was very well received. I haven't tasted it yet, but I've heard good things about it. I asked the waitress if it was normal that the menu wasn't online; she was surprised and passed the information along. So, I'd like to request that the menu be posted here as a photo.

Excellent dinner. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere was very friendly, and the location is ideal, just steps from the old market square. The terrace was very pleasant.

This is my third time here and I'm never disappointed! Fast service, very good food, wide opening hours for eating in the evening, it's great.

The pizza was pretty good, but a little burnt in some places. It's nice to be able to customize your pizza. The dessert was standard but didn't seem homemade. The atmosphere is a bit cold for an Italian restaurant; it feels a bit neutral, catering to tourists (which we weren't!). However, I might come back for a pizza sometime.

We came for dinner two days ago and, overall, we had a good time. The waitress's service was impeccable: she was very kind, smiling, and professional. Thanks to her, our experience was generally positive. However, we were disappointed by the manager's attitude. My boyfriend ordered a glass of rosé that tasted really unpleasant. When we asked him if this was normal, he replied that it was "the first time anyone had ever mentioned it to him," then added that the wine was very good and that my boyfriend had probably "gotten a bit too hot." We found this remark inappropriate because, instead of taking our feedback into account, he dismissed our experience. When it came time to pay the bill, we were charged for the glass of wine even though we had barely drunk it because of its taste. A simple gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated. It's a shame, because the waitress's service was excellent.

First experience at Capri and we were absolutely delighted. The welcome, service, and food were all top-notch. I recommend it 100%!

April 2026 Update: The pizzas are still good, except that the bottom is overcooked, even burnt in some places… It's carcinogenic, so not great. Then there was a bland, classic tiramisu, not even tasting of coffee. The pistachio tiramisu was so much better, unfortunately removed from the menu… As a reminder, here's my previous review: Passing through Rouen, I was looking for an "authentic" Italian restaurant. This place, located right in the city center, was recommended to me, and I wasn't disappointed! I chose a Margherita pizza, often the best way to judge the quality of an Italian restaurant: if the simplest pizza is good, the rest usually follow. The result: delicious, with a tomato sauce and melting mozzarella that doesn't solidify, just like in Italy. I paired everything with a perfectly balanced spritz, then finished on a sweet note with a pistachio tiramisu, one of my favorite desserts but so rarely found on menus in France. The service was quick and relaxed, on a lovely sunny terrace on a Tuesday evening. I'll definitely be back to try the pasta, because unfortunately, it's impossible for me to enjoy two courses in one meal! 🥲

Overall, it went well, but there were two minor culinary issues. Four-cheese pizza in an Italian restaurant is, for me, tomato-based, but here it was cream-based. It would be best to ask beforehand. I ordered a chocolate pistachio fondant, but it wasn't fudgy. Otherwise, everything else was good (drinks and rigatoni). The service was quick; we received our order in just a few moments.

Pleasant place, friendly staff, very nice terrace. We ordered excellent pizzas and quality ice cream desserts. A great place to spend a nice time with family. I recommend it! 👍
