Recommended by a colleague in Mulhouse, this restaurant was a great find. The restaurant's name lives up to the quality of the food, which was excellent, both in quantity and quality. The meat was very good. I highly recommend it. Plus, they offered a complimentary digestif as a nice touch.

We went to a lovely restaurant for our daughter's birthday; it was wonderful, the food was amazing, what more could you ask for? My daughter even had music and a candle for her birthday.

Excellent welcome and service. The daily menu was excellent, with two choices of main course and very generous portions. A nice little surprise after dessert... Lovely terrace in good weather and quite close to the train station

Had a wonderful experience at La Gargantua! The little restaurant isn't very visible or distinctive from the street, but once you're inside, you're spoiled by super friendly service and delicious food. Nothing to complain about, thank you! 😄

06/03/2026: A very friendly restaurant, excellent food, superb service, smiles, and very accommodating staff. I ordered frogs' legs as a main course even though they were listed as a starter: no problem, they kindly served them to me as a main course with vegetables (usually it's fries). Reasonable prices. It's best to book ahead. A little bonus... there's a lovely wood-burning fireplace.
