The food was still good, but the service was poor; there was no communication between the servers. And the waitress seemed mainly there to give us a dirty look.

Gargantua is still top-notch? A sure thing, I've been going there for years and have never been disappointed by the quality.
Except for the terrace where smoking is allowed, and last time two clowns came to smoke cigars, it was disgusting...

The staff were lovely! Smiling, attentive, and professional. Even during the busiest times, they weren't raised in conversation. Being in the industry, we observed and truly appreciated it. The food was delicious and plentiful. Kudos again to all the staff, especially in this heat! The only slight drawback for me, a non-smoker, was the cigarette smell. Being on a covered terrace, if several people are smoking at the same time or near you, it can be a little bothersome, but we will gladly return!

We had a delicious meal at La Gargantua. The location is a bit hard to find. We sat on the covered terrace. Three courses for 43 euros. The service is very friendly and helpful. The food is exquisite. Flavorful dishes, large portions. The ambiance is French, meaning it could have been cozier; fluorescent and white light are never cozy.
