Gentlemen 1919 was one of those places that made our Paris experience feel truly special. Our group of 13 came together for a night of celebration, and from the moment we stepped into this beautifully designed, hidden Parisian gem, the atmosphere was exceptional. The speakeasy setting, the classic elegance, the leather seating, the cigars, the cocktails, the music—it all came together perfectly. The concept itself, with its discreet entrance and 1920s-inspired speakeasy atmosphere, is something you simply have to experience. And then there was Big O. His name was a little complicated, so I asked his permission to call him Big O—and Big O absolutely did his thing all night! He understood the assignment. He played the music our group wanted to hear, kept the energy exactly where it needed to be, and made the entire group feel welcome. The cigar lounge was outstanding. The oversized leather chairs were incredibly comfortable, and the ventilation was phenomenal. You could enjoy a cigar in comfort without feeling overwhelmed by the smoke. The whole setting had that sophisticated private-club feel—upscale, intimate, relaxed, and unmistakably Parisian. The drinks were excellent, the small bites were perfect for the evening, and the service was first-class. But what really stood out was the vibe. There was an effortless elegance to the place that made our celebration feel like an occasion. For a group of 13 friends enjoying Paris together, Gentlemen 1919 gave us exactly what we were looking for: great cigars, great drinks, great music, great service, and an unforgettable atmosphere. Both original and classic cocktails are delicious. The atmosphere is refined and calm. For cigar aficionados, there is a cigar lounge.
