We had a lovely dinner here. The team was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. While the menu isn’t large, every dish we tried was excellent and beautifully prepared. The quality is outstanding for the price, making it a fantastic value. We’ll certainly return whenever we’re back in Rouen.

If you're ever in Rouen (near the Museum of Fine Arts – or even if you're not), you absolutely must have lunch at Laurent Blanchard's restaurant! As Gault & Millau says, the secret to this restaurant is that the chef is there! We had the pleasure and honor of chatting with him during lunch today; we learned some very interesting things about his field. 👍🙏 Regarding the meal, my wife and I enjoyed: - as a starter, a beef pear tataki. The quality and quantity of the ingredients were remarkable. - then, for my wife, a rack of farm-raised pork in a herb crust, the thickness of which ensured, if needed, incredibly tender meat in a homemade jus. For me, a succulent "white" calf's head (he'll explain the fundamental difference with a "grey" one), carefully garnished and seasoned 👍 All washed down with a good red Chinon. Given the generous portions, we opted for a fruit salad, obviously fresh and equally substantial. The service of these excellent products and preparations is ensured by a team of discreet yet remarkably efficient and responsive staff. Well done to them!
