My husband and I ate at Gill four days ago. The food was outstanding, top-notch, classic French. The evening before, we had eaten at a two-Michelin-starred restaurant. The food at Gill was even better. They had good wines, and the staff was friendly and very professional. We highly recommend this restaurant; it's a must-visit when in Rouen. Thank you.

Gill's restaurant is always a safe bet, both for its cuisine and its warm welcome. The setting is refined and worthy of a high-end restaurant. The waitstaff is attentive and perfectly attuned to your needs. I recommend this place without hesitation; you won't be disappointed!

I visited this restaurant after a friend recommended it. The service from the staff was excellent, and the food was delicious! It was the most memorable and wonderful meal of this trip. We were served a 4-course main meal and a dessert course featuring apricot and foie gras, white truffle and tuna tataki, tomato basil monkfish, rabbit dish, mille-feuille, and peach dessert. The wine recommended by the hall manager was also perfectly timed and paired well with everything :)

First time at Gill's using a gift certificate: Excellent food, but the ever-present service interrupted any conversation. The wine we ordered was forgotten and served with dessert... The atmosphere was noisy as we were seated next to a large table. Overall, I was disappointed considering the restaurant's reputation.

13/09/2026: I love the Lido and the whole team—David, Carole, Titi (on Sundays), Baptiste, and Emma—are very friendly. The atmosphere is excellent for drinks on Sunday mornings... and on other days too.
30/08/2026: The perfect spot for a Sunday morning coffee before or after the market! With our very own Titi there to serve us with a smile and a great sense of humor! During the week, it's a lovely little place with a terrace in the summer, and always a smile 😉
