Pleasant break on the holiday route. Nice surprise when we discovered the magnificent terrace at the back of the restaurant, a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Special mention for the prime rib and top waitresses. I recommend.

Warm welcome, early 19th century facade, brasserie catering in the summer season and Lyonnais corkage in winter. Excellent family cooking. Village to visit especially the upper town. A good stay.

The atmosphere outside alone is enough to transport you to a cozy French village. The menu, prominently displayed on the outdoor chalkboard, boasts an impressive selection of dishes. Highlights include an enticing oyster tasting experience and delectable offerings such as lobster and Côte De Boeuf. These gourmet options certainly promise a delightful culinary journey that would please any food enthusiast. Unfortunately, my plans to indulge in these culinary delights were thwarted as the restaurant was closed at the time of my visit. Despite checking the hours on Google Maps, it turned out that the information was inaccurate, leading to a bit of disappointment. It’s advisable to call ahead or check their official website for the most up-to-date operating hours to avoid any similar inconvenience. Despite this minor setback, I look forward to returning to "Au Café Français" when it’s open to fully experience what the menu has to offer. The serene ambiance, coupled with the promise of exceptional French cuisine, makes it a must-visit spot.

Très bon accueil mais travaillant en restauration j ai un doute sur le respect de l hygiène en cuisine porte d accès à celle ci grasse et sale la cuisinière cheveux au vent et en tenue de ville qui entre 2 plats va sur sa tablette, repart sans se laver les mains restaurant très chère et pas du tout lyonnais et rien dans l assiette dommage
