We stopped by for lunch as a group after a long hike.
Great location, very pleasant setting. The food was good: we refueled nicely for the hike.
Only downside: the owner wasn't very friendly and wasn't very responsive with service. Perhaps we just went on an off day...
A very pleasant and tasty little break at lunchtime. The owners are honest and don't take advantage of their "monopoly" in the village; their prices are very reasonable. Local products are available for purchase.
We came for a cold drink after hiking up the peak near by. The cafe area was wonderful. Stunning sight. Cozy setting. With a nice selection of bio & homemade soft drink options. I would definitely stop by again if I were in the area.

We stayed there during a four-day trek and received a truly warm welcome. We enjoyed a delicious meal, with generous portions and a welcome treat after a long day of hiking.
A huge thank you to the owners for their kindness and helpfulness. They let us take a shower for only €5, which is a real luxury when you've been trekking for several days!
Another thoughtful touch that really touched us: a friend in our group had been bitten by a horsefly, and they spontaneously took the time to give her essential oils to try and ease the pain.
This is exactly the kind of hostel we love to find on a trek: welcoming, friendly, with attentive and kind owners. An excellent stop that we highly recommend!
