Gite de L'eau Blanche sur Villard-Reymond

What a reward to settle into the Gîte Café Restaurant de l'Eau Blanche after a bike ride uphill in the summer sun! A warm welcome awaits you on the panoramic terrace from a young, motivated, and talented team, who offer simple yet excellent cuisine made with fresh, local ingredients! The dining room is just as pleasant in bad weather. Pure bliss!

We stopped at the inn during a bike ride through the 3 Villards. This lunch break was wonderful. A terrace with a breathtaking view and excellent local produce. The lentil risotto with porcini and chanterelle mushrooms was very restorative, and the lemon-basil ice cream was delicious. Well done, Clothilde and Hélios, for your establishment and your kindness. It was a great pleasure to find authenticity and hospitality in this magnificent place.

On a beautiful climb through the forest, starting from Bourg d'Oisans, we had lunch at the Auberge L'Eau Blanche. A very pleasant break thanks to the view, the tranquility, and the food... fresh, local produce and the kindness of the young owners. I 100% recommend this inn in this lovely little village. We have rarely seen such a sense of hospitality and solidarity. This little haven of peace is a true slice of paradise, made even more special by the people who bring it to life. An incredible human experience that we will never forget. Despite very challenging weather conditions, we had an amazing weekend thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the locals and the hostel staff.
