Exceptional terrace with a breathtaking view.
We stopped for a drink after cycling up the hill. A great drinks menu, with and without alcohol (local beers, sodas, kombucha, etc.). Everything comes from local producers and it's delicious.
By far the best place we visited during our stay in the Oisans region. I'd be willing to cycle up the hill again just to come back!
While on holiday in Villard-Reymond, we were hoping to find a place to eat from time to time. So we booked a table for dinner the evening of our arrival, and... we went back every night! Helios cooks with talent, using fresh, local, and mostly organic produce. Clotilde is welcoming and discreet, and it was a real pleasure for our family to gather each evening by the wood-burning stove in this former village school. Oh, and I almost forgot, the value for money is truly unbeatable, and the drinks are more than reasonably priced. You can enjoy beers and other local beverages, as well as delicious pastries if you're just passing through, and the daily special is always a gem. In short, whatever the time of day, don't miss this gastronomic experience in a sumptuous setting!
The welcome is warm, the dishes are generous and absolutely delicious! Excellent value for money for dinner, and you feel right at home by the wood-burning stove. The perfect place after a day of hiking!
A mountain inn run by a dynamic, friendly, and helpful young couple, where the home-cooked food is of very high quality. A lovely terrace in the summer, but winter also has its charm for enjoying tea by the fire. A little gem nestled in the Oisans mountains.
