GRAINS DE SIECLE sur Aubagne

Superb experience at Grains de Siècle and its team, we tasted 2 dishes and our little one took the children's menu and we enjoyed it, plus the team is very attentive. I highly recommend. Thank you.

We came across this wonderful restaurant on our trip through France. Delicious small menu with great, tasty main dishes. We sat outside and enjoyed the peace and quiet even though we were in the middle of the city. Absolute highlight fondant au chocolate! You shouldn't miss it!

Super good hearty and delicious meal. Mixing sweet and savory, it makes us discover new flavors. I recommend the Savoyard hamburger. However, prices have increased significantly.

Nothing to say about the dishes, copious and really good, the only problem is the wait, 1 hour of waiting between each dish (we were 4 tables in the restaurant), apparently the waitress can't keep up the pace (too hard being only to serve 1 carafe of water and the orders for the 4 tables), I can't imagine with the restaurant full.

Lots of good reviews around me so I decided to go there one afternoon. Salad has a normal price if we use fresh produce, except that they use bagged salad! Forgot the sauce for the salad, I have a salad with salmon and shrimp, and I am served with thin slices of lemon, very complicated so my fingers are full and no finger rinse. Plus service not really great, waitress who lets us "prop up" our table with a wedge that she brings back to us (she shouldn't damage her nails or let us see her panties given the length of her dress) , she takes a cigarette break and doesn't wash her hands before going to take care of another table. Afterwards she brings us our desserts, for me frozen nougat, I had a frozen nougat that was difficult to cut without hurting my wrist and I had the right to: we always serve it like that! The waiter sits down at the table right next to us to smoke while we are at dessert. I think we need to reorganize the staff, there are things that are not being done.
