The cafe has a coffee roaster in the middle of the space but don't worry roasting is only done in the morning. There is lots of coffee paraphanalia and it is a small space with just a few tables. We had a sausage stew with beans and tomatoes served with rice which was delicious. The desserts have to be tried because they are so good. I had a perfect lemon tart with a good coffee. The server was a charming young woman who was very friendly and efficient.
A very cozy place to have a coffee, cappuccino or other chocolate, all homemade and excellent! You can even buy the coffee you just tasted, it was so good! It will be ground in front of you, on demand and depending on the particular coffee machine or coffee maker you use. A roast that is not burnt, unlike what we sometimes find at other roasters, but very subtle, which leaves plenty of room for the varied aromas of the coffee. I didn't drink coffee daily, but that was before... good coffee is a trap! Too bad I don't live nearby, otherwise I would come back there much more often with my eyes closed (and I would take the opportunity to taste one of the other hot drinks!). THANKS!
