My experience at the Grand Café de France in Nice was generally positive. The service was friendly and smiling. The food was tasty, especially the oyster platter which was delicious. However, there was a small hiccup when my husband ordered a blue meat and it arrived medium rare. Although this required sending the dish back to the kitchen, the second attempt was perfect. Despite this slight inconvenience, we enjoyed our meal and we recommend this restaurant.

Great restaurant and good food. We had full dinner and we enjoyed everything. Mohamed our waiter was Fantastic and very very attentive. It's hard to get good service in Nice with million of tourists, but we did with him. Excellent 💕

The soup was tasteless, literally. It was surprising too. The service was good and the atmosphere is nice, especially the cushioned seats, but not a place to go to eat.

Nice, well-kept restaurant. Excellent service and attentive staff. Good food, wide choice on the menu. The puree with the delicious truffle. For dessert, the staff brings all the available desserts on the menu to the table and then you can order.

My wife & I visit Le Grand Cafe de France on a regular basis. We are usually greeted by the delightful Mr. Solomon Bassene. Solomon is always polite, kind & very courteous. The service he provides is exceptionally good & he is one of the main mreasons as to why we dine at Le Grand Cafe de France. 10/10 Well done Solomon. Alan & Catherine

12/09/2024: I'll start with the good: the food is delicious. It's undersalted, but it's better than oversalted. Some dishes have large portions, ravioli is a very small portion. Grilled red pepper with one small piece like pita bread with garlic. It’s strange, the dish costs about 15 euros, but the amount of pepper is like a sheep’s cough and for some reason one piece of pita bread, not two. Service... In short, it can be described in one phrase: “hug and cry!” There was no salt shaker on the table, nor was there any olive oil. I had to fumble around on other tables. They brought a cup for tea and sugar, but they forgot the spoon to stir it. The pasta was brought in a metal bowl with handles on which I burned my hand. The toilet is very dirty. The atmosphere is calm. It's dark inside, but calm.

04/08/2024: Open on Sunday, very good pastries, terrace for breakfast and indoor room. Friendly and efficient service
