We have known this hotel for several years and were eager to judge the service after its sale in 2023 and its membership in the Best Western group. We chose a “luxury” room on the sea side, completely renovated, including a real shower (and no longer an old-fashioned bathtub that you step over). Impeccable quality of bedding, but rather small room size. As for the restaurant, it's OK but a little expensive (38 euros main + dessert) and we prefer the many restaurants on the nearby beach, notably the Rest'o and the Albatross. What hasn't changed, a fabulous environment in a large park close to the beach, and ease of parking. What hasn't changed either is the huge unheated swimming pool (too cold in September) and the sometimes noisy groups of residents. But overall, given the immense qualities, we will not come back.

Beautiful and charming hotel.
We paid extra for the queen room with sea view. The room was nice but the bathroom needed to be redoing. It was very old… We saw on the hotel information leaflets that some bathrooms were new. Maybe we just had bad luck.
The service staff were warm and welcoming.
The pools is beautiful and the hotel is full of old people that looks like they have been coming here every summer for years. It’s got an eighties vibe.
This hotel has a soul.
Unfortunately the pool was full of annoying kids with disrespectful parents. Specially there was a family with like 7 kids and they thought they owned the pool. Lots of screaming and playing with the water guns. My book got wet twice…
Another problem was that there are limited sun beds and sun umbrellas and people would go to the pool, leave their towel in the sun bed they liked and leave. There was a couple that returned after 5h… Rude! Whilst many people in the pool had no shade nor space where to sit down. Half of the beds were taking by people that was not on the pool.
The hotel should do something about it…
Also, 5€ for an americano….
We would like to extend a big thank you to all the staff who were incredibly helpful and drove us to the station when our Uber didn't show up. Service of the highest class at an amazing hotel in the coziest city in France. Many thanks!
Best regards,
Jonas with family
The hotel is located directly on the driveway to the promenade. A beautiful park with a pool surrounds the building, which has the charm of a grand hotel.
The breakfast buffet was sufficient, but not exceptional. The staff tried hard, but sometimes there was a lack of speed and an eye for the essentials.
