Grand Hotel des Thermes sur Brides-Les-Bains

27/08/2026: The restaurant is located on the main street of Brides-les-Bains, and the staff was helpful and friendly throughout the evening. My wife and I decided to dine outside to take advantage of the pleasant evening weather and the mountain views. While we were choosing our food, they immediately brought us a small sample of the house specialty, which was greatly appreciated. We had the local fondue Savoyarde, served as per tradition with a salad topped with the typical sauce, an assortment of cured meats, and diced bread to dip in the fondue. Everything was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. As for drinks, we ordered two craft beers from Savoyard breweries and ended the evening with the house desserts, which were also excellent. The price was appropriate for the location and the experience we had during the evening.

20/08/2026: How to describe my experience? 1) A wonderful start My partner and I arrived well before service began. We just wanted to have a drink while waiting for the kitchen to get ready. However, the staff didn't hesitate to offer us a table. (Apologies again to the restaurant staff who must have cut their pre-service meal short!) 2) Fantastic food So yes, tonight we didn't order the most typical regional dishes (2 pizzas), but they were delicious. And I can easily say that the other dishes on the menu were just as good, judging by the presentation and the aroma. Perfect crust and toppings evenly distributed throughout the dough. As for dessert, the tiramisu was superb. 3) Conclusion Thank you to the staff for their warm welcome and their responsiveness/friendliness throughout the meal, despite the busy service. I highly recommend this place if you're in Brides-les-Bains or even within a half-hour drive of La Fabrik. (Book in advance, I wouldn't be surprised if it's fully booked quite often!)
