McDonald's in the center of Nice, during the lunch rush hour on a Friday in August, it took them half an hour to prepare two menus. Very slow, if you don't want to drink in reusable glasses and eat the washable plastic chips (of dubious cleanliness) I recommend getting takeaway.

Restaurant Pizzeria l'Etna

04/07/2025: Due to various factors impacting our trip we ate here a few times as it was the only place open on Sunday. The staff are excellent and very welcoming. Every meal we had here, steak, fish, pizza was very good….that is why we kept going back! If you are staying in any of the nearby hotels I highly recommend this little restaurant.
02/07/2025: At L’ETNA restaurant the quality of the food and wine is excellent all round. The Staff are friendly and hard working and you will remember them after a visit or two. Rim has a very warm personality, makes you feel at home and almost knows what you like from once you arrive. We can recommend this restaurant highly and it is definitely not the type of place you would expect to stumble upon in this particular area. We will always come back to this little gem. 11/01/2026: Hello, as a professional engraver I travel all over France, I can tell you that this place is great. I was able to taste the steak tartare and fries that the chef made for me with a lot of love. I really like this place.
26/08/2025: The decor is beautiful and refined. However, it was extremely noisy when we were inside. The meat isn't great; we didn't like it (flank steak). This is the first time I've been disappointed by this type of meat. However, the steak tartare was a big hit with the person who was with us. The fries aren't great either. I found it very expensive, and we were still hungry when we left the restaurant. Too bad. PS: I'm gluten-free, and the server wasn't aware of this intolerance.
