The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The cordon bleu was absolutely delicious. The complimentary mint tea made the experience feel even more authentic. If you’re looking for a reliable halal restaurant without missing out on the French atmosphere, I highly recommend this place

Went for dinner with family after shopping in Strasbourg center. The food was amazing and the service was so quick. I tried their famous steak and goat cheese salad. I say to my Gulf friends, try it! 😉 High-class French food, and it's halal.

I came on Saturday evening with a friend, it was absolutely wonderful. The meal was delicious, I highly recommend the Milanese veal cutlet. I hope you run into Lotfi because he's truly fantastic, always smiling and welcoming; he made our evening a great one. Thanks again.

Unacceptable service. A very unpleasant waitress on Friday, July 24th at 2 PM. Very disappointed; we were used to having very pleasant and smiling waitresses.

13/03/2026: The welcome was incredibly warm, the pizzas were excellent, with a thick yet light crust! Good to know for those who can't decide: the menu offers the "Midday-Midnight" pizza, with a choice of two halves! ;) We'll gladly come back to try the terrace when the weather is nice!
05/03/2026: I've been going to this restaurant for six years now; it's become our regular "canteen" with colleagues, and I also love going there with my family. Always a warm welcome and the food is excellent!

Un Cantalou à Strasbourg

05/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! We had dinner at this restaurant last night. The Cantal cheese tart was so exquisite that we ordered another one for dessert 😅. The owner is passionate and lovingly shares the story behind each bottle. We hung on his every word and gladly sampled the wines he recommended. The waiter was very professional, and the service flowed smoothly from aperitif to digestif! In short, an excellent first visit, and certainly not the last.
