“It was our first time coming to eat at this place. The food was fresh. The prices were good. The service was very fast. And eating at the market has a very different atmosphere. It’s just that the person who served us didn’t smile much. Or maybe they had a lot of work to do. But whatever the reason, it would be better if they smiled. The young woman who washed the plates and glasses was very friendly. We will come again.” Merci 🫶🏽

A must-do! For example, on Sunday mornings, the market is packed; it's the place to be in the Ecusson district. Sign up on the whiteboard on the wall and wait to be called—that's how it works here. And then... impeccable hygiene, everything is delicious, they even have offal (for those who appreciate it), dishes served in a traditional Provençal earthenware dish or with side dishes. You absolutely must try the Agrillade Saint Gilloise (made with chuck steak, simmered with lemon vinegar, anchovies, bacon, and chopped onions...). And the atmosphere is fantastic! Just don't all go at once, or it'll be impossible! We highly recommend it, of course ;-)
