Inside the Nîmes market lies this paradise of simple yet exquisite cuisine. I ordered the cuttlefish, with potatoes and salad. It was an explosion of perfectly balanced flavors. A garlicky green sauce didn't overpower the flavor of the cuttlefish at all, but rather enhanced it perfectly. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the salad vinaigrette was sublime. They were incredibly kind; I arrived almost at closing time, but they still let me sit down with a warm welcome and a smile. Impeccable service.

Traditional cuisine, impeccable service, the atmosphere of Les Halles market – everything came together for a fantastic lunch. The owner shared her recipes with us, as everything is homemade with love. She offered us lamb kidneys as there were only a few left, a gesture rare enough to be truly appreciated. The Mazet aioli with a large cod fillet and its memorable aioli sauce was perfect. The tripe à la marseillaise was divine with its hint of orange. And what can I say about the desserts... A dark chocolate ganache with olive jam or the enormous chocolate fondant – it's hard to choose! ✨

Food is good but being ripped of 1 euro changes after paying by cash. I take it as tips ? 😉
