Their Chateaubriand steak is incredible; I've tried several other Hippopotamus restaurants and they weren't as good as this one! With the Hippo sauce... a real treat!

We came for a meal on June 11th and received a very warm welcome from a very friendly gentleman in a shirt (the manager), who offered excellent advice. He always had a kind word to make us laugh. The meal was superb, and we will gladly return, as such a warm welcome is rare these days. I highly recommend it.

We had visited in 2025, and our experience had been disastrous. The owner contacted me to find out the reason for my negative review. After a brief explanation, he advised me to come back another time. The opportunity arose this year, and we received a very warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The meat was delicious, and the service impeccable. I thank the owner for his hospitality.

Visited today for Mother's Day in Plan de Campagne. There was superb service from the very smiling waitresses and waiters, very generous portions, we really enjoyed ourselves, hats off to the cooks.

01/02/2026: Excellent Vietnamese restaurant! The dish was flavorful, well-seasoned, with tender meat and fresh vegetables. The noodles were perfect, not greasy at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, I highly recommend it!
12/12/2025: As someone who loves bó bún, I'd be lying if I said this was the best I've ever had. The noodles were rather bland and waterlogged. However, for €9, the price was decent. The steamed appetizers were good, and the spring rolls were too. Overall, it was a mixed experience: good, but nothing special. It deserves a bit more than average.
