I recommend, we were served by a pleasant waitress named Malak, very smiling and attentive. We feel really good especially for a moment with family.

I ordered from a delivery site. Very good cheese burger with an aperitif basket and fries. Everything was hot (the fries were lukewarm but a quick switch to the air fryer did the trick!). So I can't judge the service and the atmosphere.

I am a regular at the restaurant, and sometimes a little detail was missing to push me to give a good rating, but today it was flawless from the starter to the dessert! Well done! Adding the menu card is a little extra!

I went to Hippopotamus on a Saturday evening! We went on a whim at the end of the evening, absolutely wanting the starter: poached egg with chorizo! We were not disappointed. We were well received and served quickly, we ate really well! There were very few people, for a Saturday evening, I don't know if we went after the rush or if since it's the holidays, there are fewer people, in any case, we were very happy! If I want to quibble: Hippopotamus takes holiday vouchers, but not electronically, it's a shame, even if it's a detail. Thanks again to the staff, smiling, available and very professional! Good luck to the team!

02/09/2024: Everything was PERFECT! We had a great evening with my mother. The whole team took great care of us. The service was perfect, the setting magnificent and the dishes delicious! One of the best restaurants in France! The starter with smoked salmon and lemon cream was perfect; ditto for the fish and fresh vegetables ordered by my mother. And the desserts! A real Liège coffee and a real homemade profiterole. A real delight. I really recommend this restaurant. Well done to the whole team!
